With Holi just around the corner, travellers heading home for the festival can now breathe a sigh of relief! To manage the surge in demand, Indian Railways has announced over 50 special trains to ensure smoother and more comfortable journeys.

Search TrainsSouth Central Railway (SCR) has rolled out 14 Holi Special trains connecting key destinations across India. These additional services will operate on select dates in March 2025, covering crucial routes like Cherlapalli, Shalimar, Santragachi, Jalna, and Patna, making it easier for passengers to celebrate with their loved ones.
Some of the major trains include:
07703 Cherlapalli – Shalimar
07704 Shalimar – Cherlapalli
07705 Cherlapalli – Santragachi
07706 Santragachi – Cherlapalli
07611 Jalna – Patna
07612 Patna – Jalna, and more!
Apart from these, Indian Railways will also run 36 special trains between Rajkot and Mahbubnagar to handle the increased rush during Holi and the upcoming summer season. You can use the ixigo trains app to check seat availability in these trains.
