There are two ways you can do IndiGo seat selection online. You can either choose a seat at the time of booking or do so later with your PNR/Booking Reference number on the airline’s official website.

How to do IndiGo Flight Seat Selection While Booking?
The airline offers “Seat Plus” as an add-on service to its passengers wherein they can choose a window or aisle seat, or one with extra legroom on their flights starting at just Rs. 150.
You can avail the Seat Select Add-On at the time of IndiGo flight booking. After entering the passenger details, you will be asked to select a seat in the next step. There are both paid and free seats available. If you choose a paid seat, the cost will be added to the total price of your ticket.
The carrier also offers double, triple and multiple seat booking for the convenience of the flyers. This facility can be availed both at the time of booking and later during web check-in.
How to do IndiGo Seat Selection with PNR?
- Go to the IndiGo website.
- Head to the Edit/Manage Booking option.
- Enter your PNR/Booking Reference number and Email/Last name.
- Hit the “Get Itinerary” button.
- Click on the “Select/Change Seat” option from the “Modify” tab.
- A new window will open with the plane seat map.
- Choose a seat of your choice.
- Click on “Continue”, and your seat is selected.
If you have selected a paid seat, you will be asked to complete the payment in the next step.
You can also do your seat selection at the time of IndiGo web check-in. All you need is your PNR or Booking Reference number. Follow these steps to do a seat selection on IndiGo –

- Click on “Continue”.
- Next, you can go ahead and complete your web check-in.
Note: Web check-in is typically available 48 hours to 60 minutes before departure for domestic flights. The check-in window closes two hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights.
Alternatively, you can opt for ixigo’s Smart Check-in option, which automatically completes the check-in process and selects a seat for you as soon as the window opens.
It can also be done via IndiGo’s auto-assigned seat option that you can avail during web check-in. In this case, the airline will allot you a seat itself and send you your boarding pass three hours before your flight.
