Travelling to Hong Kong soon? Then, here are the updated COVID-19 rules you need to know.
Starting from 12th August, Hong Kong will be reducing the hotel quarantine period to three days from seven for incoming travellers. They will be able to leave the hotel after receiving a negative COVID-19 test report on the third day.

Search flightsNext, they will be required to stay under medical surveillance at home or in other self-arranged accommodation for four nights. Those who get a negative result in the subsequent test can complete the medical surveillance on Day 7 in the morning.
These individuals will be required to self-monitor for the next three days, as well as daily Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) until Day 10. They must take the final Nucleic Acid Test on Day 9.

Passengers travelling to Hong Kong must carry a recognised vaccination record with them, in either English or Chinese. Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V are all acceptable in the city. At least 14 days should have passed since the last dose for an individual to be considered fully-vaccinated for travel.
It’s mandatory for all travellers boarding flights to the city from overseas and Taiwan to complete the online Health & Quarantine Information Declaration of the Department of Health before departure.
