Hong Kong

Starting from 1st April, Hong Kong will lift its flight ban on India, US, UK and six other countries.

As per the latest order, only fully-vaccinated Hong Kong residents will be allowed to enter the city. They need to carry a negative PCR report of a test taken within 48 hours of boarding.

The quarantine period will be 14 days but it can be shortened if the PCR test on Day 5, and antigen tests of Days 6 and 7 all come back negative. These travellers must self-monitor their health for the next seven days and take a PCR test on Day 12 at a community testing centre.

Social distancing measures will be eased from 21st April. Dine-in services at catering businesses will be resumed from 6 PM to 10 PM. Up to four people will be allowed to share one table. The maximum number of people permitted in public places for group gatherings will also be relaxed to four.

Mauritius

Fully-vaccinated passengers travelling to Mauritius no longer need to present a negative PCR report to enter the country. They will have to undergo a rapid antigen test at the hotel. Guests staying at private accommodations will have to take a free PCR test at the airport on arrival.

Unvaccinated travellers will have to take a COVID test on arrival at the airport. They will also have to quarantine for seven days.
