Holi 2022: Railways to Run Special Trains on Several Routes

Good news for train travellers!

The Indian Railways has announced several special trains in order to manage the rush during the upcoming Holi festival.

> The Railways has decided to run several Holi special trains for the convenience of the passengers. Here’s the complete list –

> The Central Railway has also decided to run special trains on some major routes. Here are the details –

Train nos. 01009/01010 Mumbai – Mau – Mumbai Special will operate from Mumbai on 15th March and from Mau on 17th March. 

Train nos. 01011/01012 Pune – Karmali – Pune Special will operate from Pune on 18th March and from Karmali on 20th March. 

Train nos. 01013/01014 Panvel – Karmali – Panvel Special will operate from Panvel on 19th March and will leave from Karmali the same day.

Train nos. 01015/01016 Mumbai – Danapur – Mumbai Special will operate from Mumbai on 15th and 22nd March and from Danapur on 16th and 23rd March.

> The North Central Railway will be running these special trains –

Train nos. 01907/01908 Prayagraj – Anand Vihar – Prayagraj Superfast Holi Special Express will operate from Prayagraj on 20th March and from Anand Vihar on 21st March.

Train nos. 02575/02576 Hyderabad – Gorakhpur – Hyderabad (Weekly) Superfast Holi Special Express will operate from Hyderabad on 18th and 25th March, and from Gorakhpur on 20th and 27th March.

Train nos. 02827/02828 Shalimar – Darbhanga – Shalimar Special will operate from Shalimar on 16th March and from Darbhanga on 17th March. 

Train nos. 08181/08182 Tatanagar – Chhapra – Tatanagar Special will operate from Tatanagar on 17th March and from Chhapra on 20th March. 

> The Western Railway will be running special trains between Bandra Terminus to Barauni, Ajmer and Gorakhpur. Here are the train details –

> The Eastern Railway will be running one trip each of trains between Howrah and Digha. 

Train nos. 08001/08002 Howrah – Digha – Howrah Special will operate from 17th to 19th March.
