If the idea of travelling by a luxury train fascinates you, here’s a piece of news for you.
The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation or KSTDC and the Department of Tourism will run the Golden Chariot train during the festival of Dussehra to woo all the tourists. The train will be operational starting October 1 and run on alternate days until October 10.
What’s more interesting is that the guests would be able to witness cultural programmes right in front of the illuminated Mysore Palace, as they’ll be entitled to the Gold pass of the special Dussehra Programme. Additionally, a curated walk to explore Mysore will be organised; thanks to the collaboration of KSTDC with Mysore Royal Walks.
