Goa, Ladakh remove RT-PCR requirement for fully vaccinated visitors

Goa and Ladakh, two holiday favourites for the month of September, have finally relaxed their COVID-19 guidelines for incoming travellers who are fully vaccinated.

For Goa

The Government of Goa is now allowing asymptomatic travellers who are fully vaccinated (two doses) to travel to Goa without a COVID-19 negative test report. All such passengers must carry their final vaccination certificate to get this exemption. The second dose should be taken at least 15 days before arrival in Goa.

Travellers who are not fully vaccinated can still visit Goa
, but they must carry a COVID-19 negative test report (RT-PCR/TrueNat/CBNAAT/RAT/any other ICMR-approved test), with the test done a maximum of 72 hours before entry. Arrivals from Kerala can only present a negative RT-PCR report. 

For Ladakh

Asymptomatic travellers visiting Ladakh are now exempted from carrying a negative RT-PCR test report if they are fully vaccinated (two doses) and can present their final vaccination certificate. The second dose should be taken at least 15 days before entering Ladakh.

Travellers who are not fully vaccinated can also visit Ladakh, but they need to carry a negative RT-PCR test report not older than 96 hours.
