Get to Mumbai from New Delhi in a partial-vacuum tube in just 83 minutes

Hyperloop One is planning to bring its high-speed tube transportation system to India. By the end of this year, the feasibility of the project is supposed to be studied and a report will be prepared. Hyperloop One, which is working on Elon Musk’s Hyperloop concept, is betting big on India. It will enable users to travel in pods inside a partial-vacuum tube, named Hyperloop.

Some Tidbits

Hyperloop One claims to be the only company in the world that is building a Hyperloop system.  After the successful public demonstration in May 2016, it is on its way to run the world’s first full-system test in Nevada this year.

A recent tweet from Hyperloop asked the public to pick its favourite of five routes in India. A journey from Mumbai to Delhi which usually takes two hours through airways will just take 83 minutes through this transportation system. Sounds interesting, isn’t it?
