Fresh travel guidelines issued for 3 Indian states

For Uttarakhand

The Dehradun District Magistrate recently issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) for travellers entering the district from other states. Travellers will now have to mandatorily register themselves on the Smart City web portal.

Also, fully vaccinated passengers coming from Maharashtra, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh will be allowed only after showing a COVID negative report not older than 72 hours. Travellers from other states must carry a full vaccination certificate (two doses and 15 days should have passed after getting the second dose) or a COVID-19 RT-PCR/TrueNat/CB-NAAT/RAT conducted within 72 hours of arrival.

For West Bengal

The Airport Authority of India (AAI), Kolkata has issued new guidelines for travellers arriving in West Bengal.

A passenger should carry a full vaccination certificate (two doses) or an RT-PCR negative report, conducted within 72 hours of flight departure.

For Tripura

Passengers travelling to Tripura from Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, West Bengal, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland must follow the below-mentioned guidelines:

1) Travellers must carry a negative RT-PCR/TrueNat/CB-NAAT report issued within 48 hours.
2) Passengers will undergo testing upon arrival if not carrying the report.

For travellers from other states: Fully vaccinated travellers must carry a valid vaccination certificate (two doses and the second dose should be taken at least 14 days before arrival). Partially vaccinated/unvaccinated travellers must carry a COVID-19  RT-PCR/TrueNat/CB-NAAT negative report issued within 72 hours.
