This weekend, Kambala, a well-known buffalo racing competition from the coastal Karnataka region, is gearing up to captivate Bengaluru. The traditional sport is scheduled to take place at the centrally located Palace Grounds on November 25 and 26.

It is the first time that Kambala is being held in Bengaluru.


Traffic congestion is expected along Palace Road and surrounding routes from November 24 to 26. While a massive conference is scheduled by Tulu Koota at the venue on November 24, the organizers are expecting a footfall of more than 10 lakh people during the races.


The Kempegowda Airport has released a passenger advisory so that travellers can plan their travel in advance and reach the airport on time.
