East Coast Railways Announces Special Trains to Maha Kumbh Mela!

To facilitate the smooth travel of pilgrims to the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced five special trains.

These trains will enhance connectivity between key cities in Odisha and Prayagraj, ensuring a convenient journey for devotees.

1. Bhubaneswar – Tundla – Bhubaneswar Special Train

Route: Via Kendujhargarh, Bokaro, and Gaya

Departure: From Bhubaneswar to Tundla at 12:30 hrs on the following Wednesdays:

January: 1st, 8th, 22nd

February: 5th, 19th, 26th

Key Highlight: Passes through Prayagraj Station, offering direct access for pilgrims.


2. Puri – Tundla – Puri Special Train

Route: Via Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, and Gaya

Departure: From Puri to Tundla at 12:30 hrs on the following Mondays:

January: 6th, 20th

February: 17th

Key Highlight: Provides a seamless connection to Prayagraj Station.


3. Titilagarh – Tundla – Titilagarh Special Train

Route: Via Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, and DDU

Departure: From Titilagarh to Tundla at 12:30 hrs on the following Thursdays:

January: 9th, 16th, 23rd

February: 6th, 20th, 27th

Key Highlight: Passes through Prayagraj, offering direct access to the Mela.

4. Visakhapatnam – Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn (DDU) – Visakhapatnam Special Train

Route: Via Rayagada, Titilagarh, Raipur, and Katni

Departure: From Visakhapatnam to DDU at 17:35 hrs on the following Thursdays:

January: 9th, 16th, 23rd

February: 6th, 20th, 27th

5. Visakhapatnam – Gorakhpur – Visakhapatnam Special Train

Route: Via Bhubaneswar, Angul, Sambalpur City, and Jharsuguda

Departure: From Visakhapatnam to Gorakhpur at 22:20 hrs on the following Sundays:

January: 5th, 19th

February: 16th
