After railways resumed services, the government has finally given the nod to airlines to start operating from May 25.
Government and Civil Aviation Ministry took the final call today. Air travel operations will restart in a calibrated manner confirmed Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
Airlines and airports have been requested to get ready for operations from May 25.
All trains and airlines were cancelled due to the nationwide lockdown. The countrywide lockdown has extended till May 31.
The move to allow flights comes after the government permitted the resumption of a few passenger train services from May 12.
