14 trains have been delayed due to fog in Delhi with the lowest temperature recorded being 7 degree Celsius. The overall air quality in the national capital was also recorded in the ‘poor’ category.
A senior Railways officer said, “14 trains have been delayed by an average of two hours due to fog.”
Ranchi-Delhi and Jaynagar-Anand Vihar Garib Rath, Farakka Express, Poorva Express, Sealdah-Rajdhani are amongst those delayed. The Met department predicts very dense fog today and in the coming week.
On Monday, the minimum temperature in the national capital had settled at 7.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature recorded was 20.1 degrees Celsius.
