Breaking News! Starting November 10, Dehradun railway station will be closed for 3 months for renovation.
While it will directly affect tourism, the revamping of the station will upgrade the station’s capacity and broaden the platforms.
Rajendra Singh, PRO of Izzatnagar railway division said, “Trains operating from Dehradun station will be operating from Haridwar railway station for this duration. The station will start operating after February 7 next year.”

At present, trains with more than 12 coaches couldn’t halt at the station. Additional coaches were attached in Haridwar.
Currently, a total of 15 trains run from Dehradun railway station to Amritsar, Saharanpur, Howrah, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Delhi, Chandigarh, Kota, Kathgodam, Muzaffarpur and other destinations across India.
