Airline Cancellation & Change Policies for COVID-19

In light of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the globe, ixigo has been running a no-questions-asked cancellation and reschedule policy. Under this policy, people with one-way or return international tickets for departure date ex-India up to 31st March 2020 can avail a full refund for 10 international destinations.

Indigo 

The indigo airline will not be charging any change fees:

  • On existing international and domestic bookings for travel between 12th & 31st March 2020.
  • For new international and domestic bookings between 12th & 31st March 2020.

*Fare difference may apply. Changes need to be made 3 days prior to departure. 

GoAir 

The GoAir airline has waived cancellation and rebooking fees for international and domestic bookings from 8th March to 30th April for travel up to 15th September 2020.

  • Flights can be rescheduled up to 30th September 2020. 
  • Fare difference on rescheduling may apply.  

SpiceJet

The SpiceJet airline will not be charging any change fees:

  • On existing international and domestic bookings for travel between 12th & 31st March 2020.
  • For new international and domestic bookings for travel between 12th & 31st March 2020.

Air India

The Air India airline is permitting:

  • One free change to postpone any international or domestic booking on all existing bookings for travel date till 30th April 2020 and on new bookings till 31st March 2020.
  • Tickets must be re-issued on or before 31st May 2020.

*In case of re-routing, the applicable difference of fare will be charged.
