In order to combat the deadly Coronavirus, India is all set to locally produce 10 lakh kits per month each of RT-PCR.
According to the Health Ministry, “Efforts in the areas of diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines are also being monitored.”
The present ventilator capacity in India is 6,000 per month. The centre along with the states has been working continuously for delicated COVID hospitals.
Statistics from the Union ministry of health and family welfare (MOHFW) have revealed that India took longer than most countries in the West to show up 12,000 or more number of COVID-hit positive patients.
This shows how our lockdown for 21 days beginning from 25th March was the most successful exercise in the world.
