Although the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in India have crossed 12000, reports indicate that some areas are witnessing a decrease in new cases.
According to the health bulletin released by the government, Delhi reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, which is the lowest figure for Delhi in April.
Similarly, Maharashtra reported 232 new cases, nearly 30% less than Tuesday’s figure.
On a positive note, Kerala, one of the top coronavirus hotspots of the country, has managed to slow down its number of new cases as well as speed up the number of recoveries.
The state confirmed that 218 out of 387 patients have recovered from the disease. Moreover, only 1 new case of COVID-19 was reported on Wednesday.
