The rise in COVID cases in the country has led many states and union territories to change their guidelines in order to prevent the virus from spreading.
Here are the updated rules for Ladakh, West Bengal, Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh and Tripura.

Leh
Leh has imposed a strict night curfew from 9 pm to 5 am.
Bar, restaurants, dine-in services at the hotels shall operate with 25% of the seating capacity.
Public transports shall continue to ply with half of their seating capacity.
The maximum number of people permitted to attend indoor/outdoor gatherings is 20 or 50% of the capacity (whichever is lower). Prior permission from concerned SDMs is required for such events.

West Bengal
West Bengal has relaxed a few COVID restrictions that were imposed in the state earlier.
Gyms are allowed to remain open until 9 pm with 50% of the capacity.
Jatra shall be allowed till 9 pm with 50% of the capacity in an outdoor venue, while only 200 people or 50% of the capacity (whichever is lower) are allowed in indoor venues.
A maximum of 200 people or 50% of the capacity of the hall/venue are allowed in marriage related functions.
However, flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Kolkata shall still operate only thrice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Mumbai
Mumbai has a night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am.
Malls, cinema halls, restaurants, gyms and hair salons are allowed to operate with 50% of their capacity, provided both the staff and users are fully vaccinated.

Also, passengers arriving in Mumbai from the UAE, including Dubai are now exempted from mandatory seven-day home quarantine and RT-PCR test on arrival.
Guidelines applicable to passengers from ‘countries other than at-risk countries’ will now be applicable on people arriving from the UAE, including Dubai.
Himachal Pradesh
All social and religious gatherings are banned in the state.
As for the academic, sports, entertainment, political gatherings, 50% of the capacity or 100 people (whichever is lower) are allowed in indoor spaces. Whereas in outdoor areas, 50% of the capacity or 300 people (whichever is lower) are allowed.
Government offices shall remain closed on weekends and to function on weekdays with 50% staff presence.
This order will stay in effect till 24th January.

Tripura
The state has imposed a night curfew between 9 pm and 5 am from 10th to 20th January.
Movie halls, sports complexes, stadiums, entertainment parks and bars are allowed to operate at 50% of the capacity.
Restaurants and dhabas will function only up to 8:30 pm with 50% capacity. Only 100 people are allowed in marriage functions, whereas 20 are allowed in funerals.
