In response to a significant decrease in COVID cases in the country, several states/UTs have relaxed their restrictions. This has offered a much-needed relief to the travellers and locals alike.
Here are the updated guidelines for Chandigarh, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Chandigarh
The Chandigarh administration has withdrawn the night curfew.
All restrictions have been removed from markets, malls, restaurants, hotels, bars, cinema halls, museums, swimming pools, gyms, etc.
However, indoor gatherings are restricted to 200 people, while only 500 people are allowed in the outdoor ones. The total number of people should not exceed 50% of the capacity of the venue.

Tripura
Tripura has relaxed the night curfew timings from 11 pm to 5 am. Earlier the curfew was imposed from 9 pm to 5 am.
Movie halls, multiplexes, sports complexes, stadiums and gyms are allowed to operate with 50% of their capacity.
All shops and commercial establishments, including malls, parlours, barber shops are allowed to remain open from 6 am to 10 pm.
Restaurants/dhabas can operate till 10 pm with 50% of their total capacity.
These guidelines will stay in effect from 11th to 20th February.

Himachal Pradesh
The state has removed the night curfew.
All social/religious/cultural/political gatherings, whether indoors or outdoors, are permitted to take place with 50% of the venue’s capacity. This rule is also applicable for marriage and funeral events.

Meghalaya
The Meghalaya Government has also lifted the night curfew that was earlier imposed across the state.
Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed in bars, restaurants and movie theatres.
No prior permission will be required for funeral events.
