Here’s all you need to know about Char Dham Yatra 2024:
> The gates of Sri Badrinath Dham are set to open at 6 a.m. on May 12th, while Shri Kedarnath Dham will open its doors two days earlier on May 10th at 7 a.m. Pilgrims from across the nation are expected to gather at these holy sites to receive blessings and perform rituals.
> On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 10th May, the gates of Shri Gangotri Dham will be opened. This revered site is the origin of the holy river Ganga.
> The Government of Uttarakhand mandates registration for all pilgrims embarking on the Char Dham Yatra, ensuring safety and security measures.
> To register, devotees can visit the website of the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/) which deals with pilgrimage tours in the state. or download the Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile app from Play Store or App Store.
> People can also send a YATRA message on WhatsApp to 8394833833 and follow the instructions to Register.
> Pilgrims must carry Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License for registration. Scanned copies of these documents are required for online registration.
> There is no registration fee for Char Dham Yatra.
