Major Highlights:
> Vishnu Path and Mahabodhi Temple Corridors, both located in Bihar, will undergo comprehensive development, modelled after the successful transformation of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor.
> The government will support the development of Nalanda as a major tourist centre and work to restore Nalanda University to its historical glory.
> A comprehensive development initiative will be undertaken for Rajgir, known for its ancient Jain temple complexes and sacred hot springs.
>Odisha will be promoted for its potential as a prime destination for both religious and beach tourism.
>The budget also outlined three major economic railway corridor programmes under the PM Gati Shakti initiative to improve logistics networks and reduce costs.
> Additionally, 40,000 rail bogies to be upgraded to Vande Bharat standards.
