The Ministry of Railways has released the full list of 80 new trains that will begin operations from September 12, along with the exam specials and the 230 special trains already in service.

The booking for these new trains will begin from 10th September. Passengers can book them conveniently on ixigo.
Some of the important routes to be covered by these new trains include New Delhi-Indore, Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur, Puri-Ahmedabad and New Delhi-Bengaluru. The new trains will also provide connectivity to major destinations including Mysore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Dehradun, Vishakhapatnam, Guwahati, Kurukshetra, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Varanasi among many others.

Book TrainsAlong with popular trains like Durontos, Sampark Krantis and Jan Shatabdis, these 80 new trains also include two Shatabdis, two Humsafar express and two Vande Bharat express trains.
Passengers must note that these trains will be fully reserved and their stoppages will be regulated as per the suggestions of the various state governments. Also, the composition and timings of these new trains will be as per existing regular trains.

The new trains are sure to increase passenger convenience, especially with the oncoming festive months. In a statement, Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has also confirmed that the national transporter will provide more trains in the festive season if requested by the states.
