In a series of updates, two major Indian states have announced significant relaxations in COVID curbs.
The government of Uttar Pradesh has completely lifted the day-time COVID curfew from all 75 districts of the state.
The restrictions were earlier lifted from 72 of the 75 districts, owing to the active caseload being reduced to below 600.

Now, it has been announced that the day-time curfew in Uttar Pradesh is being lifted entirely. However, night curfew and the weekend curfew will continue:

Along with this, in a series of Tweets, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced that the statewide lockdown will be coming to an end, since the COVID infections have reduced.
Government and private offices will be allowed to open till 4 pm with 50% capacity, and the opening hours of shops have also been extended till 5 pm.
Online classes will be allowed and there will be no restrictions on the movement of private vehicles. The Chief Minister further requested the general public to avoid crowded areas.

However, a night curfew between 7 pm and 5 am will continue to remain inforce.
