As Spring slowly approaches, most of Japan blossoms into harmonic hues of pink. Between March and May, Cherry Blossoms or Sakura, bloom and blossom across the geographical expanse of the country.
Its most popular activity – the viewing of the Cherry Blossoms, locally known as Hanami is a deal made for every day of Spring. Hanami is best enjoyed at historical sites, shrines, and memorials or even better, in one of Japan’s many parks.

Fukuoka
One of Japan’s most scenic and popular destinations, the best thing about Hanami in Fukuoka is that the major viewing spots are open to all at zero cost.

Hokkaido
Approximately 10,000 cherry trees of more than 250 different kinds can be found in Hokkaido. Even in your wildest imagination, you cannot imagine the beauty of this region during the peak season.

Fukushima
Much less crowded than the other destinations, you can really take your time and pleasurably bask in the beauty of the beautiful scenery.

This historic city is one of the best places in Japan for Hanami. Do not pass it by!

Nara
Watching the Cherry Blossoms in Nara can be quite a gamble. Some years, they appear for only a few days and some years, they extend their stay for more than a month.
