In an unfortunate incident, train no. 15633 Bikaner – Guwahati Express got derailed yesterday near Domohani in West Bengal. As per the sources, 12 bogies were affected, out of which five were overturned. The speed of the train at the time of the accident was 40 kmph.
Union Minister for Minority Affairs, John Barla visited the accident site of Bikaner – Guwahati Express this morning for inspection. He informed that at least 9 casualties have been reported while 36 people have been injured. The rescue operation is complete and those injured are being treated.
