Now pilgrims would be able to explore some of the country’s most famous religious sites; thanks to the launch of the “Bharat Darshan” tourist train. It’s a great opportunity for those who want to ride this dedicated tourist train at a budget-friendly package created by IRCTC.
The package is available for Rs. 830 only (per person). In case you want to opt for a family vacation, you can do so by opting for trips to selected places (east, south or major religious places) depending on your preference and convenience.
The dedicated tourist train features of 10 coaches that are managed by on-board security and hospitality staff, and trained tour managers. What’s more? The package included accommodation, road and train transportation, sightseeing, and onboard and off-board meals.
It is learnt that the “East Darshan” began on 8th May, with the tourist train starting from Chandigarh and covering places such as Jagannath Puri, Gangasagar, Baidyanath Dham, Gaya, Banaras and Ayodhya via Delhi Cantonment.
The “7 Jyotirlinga tour” that begins on 23rd May (travelling from Chandigarh via Delhi Cantt) will cover places including Nasik (Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar), Dwarka (Nageshwar), Aurangabad (Grishneshwar), Ujjain (Omkareshwar and Mahakaleshwar) and Veraval (Somnath). And another “7 Jyotirlinga tour” that starts on 6th June will cover the same places as above with only one slight difference that the train will travel from Delhi Safdarjung via Lucknow.
The “Dakshin Darshan with Shirdi” will begin on 27th June and cover Shirdi, Tirupati, Kanchipuram, Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Mysore and Bangalore; yet again the train will travel from Chandigarh via Delhi Cantt.
