1. Mask, mask everywhere!

2.  No more last-minute marathons


With multiple health screening and safety measures being put in place, passengers now have to reach at least 90 minutes before the departure time.

 


3. Cleanliness is the key!


Indian Railways is trying its best to maintain high-level sanitation to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus. Deep cleaning of each coach is being done so that safer travel can be ensured.


4. Social distancing is the new norm


Post lockdown, only those passengers who have confirmed tickets are being allowed to enter the station premise after all the required checking. Social distancing is being strictly followed to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

5. Disposable linen is in! 

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection, Indian Railways has introduced disposable linen stalls at a number of stations. At these stalls, one can find a complete package containing a set of all the safety essentials that are necessary for travel.
