Bagdogra Airport officials announced on Twitter that the airport will remain shut from 11th to 25th April for refurbishing work on the sole runway.

Bagdogra Airport is located near Siliguri, West Bengal.
According to news reports, flight operations were halted and 21 flights were cancelled at the airport after the damage was reported on the runway.
This popular airport serves as a gateway to many hill stations like Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kalimpong, Kurseong, Mirik, and other sections of North Bengal.
