This unique arrangement by the Railways will allow new mothers to sleep with their kids comfortably as they travel by train. The fitted ‘Baby Berth’ is foldable and secured with a stopper.
For now, it has been introduced on an experimental basis in train nos. 12229/30, Lucknow Mail.

This facility will be available in the lower seats. Railways is awaiting passenger feedback on the same.
