How does it work?
If you’ve chosen the Assured, you can enjoy the flexibility of a full refund when you cancel your booking within the specified timelines.
For domestic flights, if your booking was made between 10 hours to 26 hours before departure, you can cancel up to 8 hours prior to departure for a full refund. For bookings made 26 hours to 90 days in advance, cancellations must be made 24 hours prior.
For international flights, bookings made between 84 hours to 90 days before departure can be fully refunded if cancelled 72 hours prior to flight departure time.
How do I get a full refund with Assured?
- Make sure you opt for the ‘free cancellation’ option while booking your tickets on ixigo.
- If your booking was made between 26 hours and 90 days ago, you must initiate the cancellation request at least 24 hours before your flight’s departure. Flights booked between 10 and 26 hours ago can be cancelled 8 hours prior to departure.
- Your refund will be initiated within minutes.
Please note that if the booking is cancelled on the airline website or by the airline, you also need to place a cancellation request on the ixigo app. You do not need to fill any additional forms in this case.
