Andhra Pradesh to resume tourism; Kerala’s tourist spots to become fully vaccinated zones soon!

As daily cases of the coronavirus disease have started to decline, several states and union territories (UTs) have announced relaxations in curbs.

With the easing of pandemic restrictions, things are getting better for the travellers!

After almost 2 months of lockdown, the Maharashtra administration has reopened tourist hotspots Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani since June 21.

You can now visit these hill stations without a negative COVID-19 report if you are visiting only for a day. But if you are planning a longer stay, it is mandatory to carry either a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) or RT-PCR test report. A negative report of either RT-PCR or rapid antigen test taken not more than 72 hours prior to the visit is mandatory for those looking to stay overnight.

> The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to resume tourism in the state. The announcement to reopen all the prime tourist attractions was made by the State Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivas Rao on Wednesday. 

As a result of declining numbers of positive cases in the country, the tourist spots in Andhra Pradesh are open now.

> As per the reports, all popular tourist destinations in Kerala may soon be declared as completely vaccinated zones. The state government is planning to provide COVID-19 jabs to all those who are involved in the tourism sector.

The government has included those involved in the tourism sector in the priority list, and has already started providing vaccines to them.

The Tourism Minister, while announcing this, added that they are planning to make famous tourist hotspots in the state 100 percent vaccinated zones by July 15, with support of the health department.
