In her speech, Sitharaman shared all the big-budget plans that are being made for the Indian Railways.

A high-speed train from Mumbai to Ahmedabad will be actively pursued.
Railway Budget of 2020 focuses on bringing more private trains such as the Tejas Express. These trains will connect all the iconic tourist destinations in India.
Additionally, the Finance Minister Sitharaman added that a plan is underway to have large solar power capacity alongside rail tracks.
As a part of the budget, there will be 1,150 trains that will run in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Not only that, 4 stations will be redeveloped with the help of the private sector.
550 Wi-Fi facilities have been set up at various railway stations.
