As per the latest reports, Air India is planning to operate special domestic flights between May 19 and June 2. However, the domestic flights will ferry only those passengers who have been brought back under the Vande Bharat Mission.
These special flights will be operated as part of the second phase of the Mission since many people who have been evacuated from foreign countries have been stranded at airports and would require further help to reach their home states.

These special flights will mostly be operating from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Chennai will be having one flight, i.e., Kochi-Chennai on May 19.
Flights from Delhi will be operating to Jaipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Gaya and Lucknow. Whereas, flights from Mumbai will be connecting Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
Flights from Hyderabad will be operating to Delhi and Mumbai and flights from Bengaluru will be connecting Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
