Come April and everyone has some or the other travel plans. Well, the month is going to be a bit tough for passengers travelling by air to or from Ahmedabad. As Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is getting its runaway resurfaced, flights will not be operational at the city airport from April 14 to October 29, between 10 AM to 6 PM.
Domestic airline Indigo has already announced the cancellation of 14 flights connecting from Ahmedabad to Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Goa, which is likely to affect 2,000 passengers everyday. Also, they have shifted flights to Vadodara Airport, which is about 90 min from Ahmedabad. Check all flights flying from Vadodara:
It’s important to learn that GoAir, SpiceJet and other airline won’t be cancelling their flights and instead would be rescheduling the same. Now that you know, you can alter your travel plans accordingly.
