If you are planning to fly to and from Pune or Ahmedabad Airports, then here is a very important update for you. Due to runway resurfacing work, the runways of both these airports will remain closed during certain time periods.
1> The Pune International Airport recently tweeted about runway resurfacing work that will take place between 16th and 29th October, 2021, during which the airport will remain closed.
As the airport will remain closed for 14 days, passengers are requested to plan their travel accordingly.

2> Here is an important update from the Ahmedabad Airport, officially known as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Due to runway maintenance work, the runway will remain closed from 9 am to 6 pm between January 3 and May 31, 2022, except on public holidays and Sundays. The airport authorities have also assured to accommodate maximum flights before and after the runway closure time.
