Great news for fliers! Karnataka’s Kalaburagi, that borders Maharashtra and Telangana is all set to get a new airport. The Kalaburagi Airport is likely to commence operations in November.
In a statement, Sharat. B, deputy commissioner of Kalaburagi said, “I think that in November we should be able to commence operations.”

Book FlightsThe airport will provide flight operations between Hubballi in North Karnataka and Hindon, located in Delhi-NCR. It is part of India’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, aiming to provide better connectivity of places across the country.
As of now, the commercial operations are expected to commence from November 15.
