Search TrainsIn recent years, the Indian government has expanded the Vande Bharat train route, introducing multiple new connections. Now, a new service will link Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh with Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, covering approximately 410 km in just seven hours.
This Vande Bharat train will pass through Jabalpur, Gondia (Maharashtra), and Raipur, providing a much-needed alternative to the existing options.
Currently, only one express train operates on this route, covering nearly 500 km in about 12 hours. The introduction of this service will not only reduce travel time significantly but also offer a more convenient option for passengers from Seoni, Mandla, and Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh. Travellers heading to Nagpur will also benefit from this addition.
As per the draft schedule, the train will depart from Jabalpur at 5:00 AM and reach Raipur by 11:55 AM. On its return journey, it will leave Raipur at 1:20 PM and arrive in Jabalpur by 8:15 PM. With a total travel time of seven hours, this addition to Vande Bharat Express trains will ensure a faster and more efficient travel experience.
