A Blooming Affair: Delhi’s Iconic Mughal Gardens to Open on February 5

What if we told you that you can spot Christian Dior, John F Kennedy, Queen Elizabeth, Mother Teresa and Jawaharlal Nehru at the same place? No, we aren’t joking! 

You really can spot them and a lot more at the historical Mughal Gardens in the President’s Estate! Opening on February 5 for the general public, the Mughal Gardens will be showcasing roses named after these famous celebrities.

Along with these, make sure to feast your eyes on about 10,000 Tulips, 138 types of roses and 70 kinds of seasonal flowers in vivid shades of white, orange, red and yellow mixed with pink and red.

The Gardens will remain open throughout the week for the general public except on Mondays between 10 am to 4 pm, till March 8. However, the Gardens will open exclusively for differently-abled persons, farmers, paramilitary forces and Delhi Police personnel on March 11 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Seeing a footfall of 5.18 lakh visitors last year, the Mughal Gardens has been receiving 3-6 lakh visitors every year since 2003.
