1– This new train was introduced in the new time table on July 1, 2019.
2– The Tejas Express train on the Delhi-Lucknow route is likely to become the first train which will be operated by private entities.
3– The Tejas Express is equipped with personalised LCD entertainment-cum-information screens, onboard Wi-Fi facility, comfortable seats, mobile charging points, modular bio-toilets, personalised reading lights and sensor tap fittings..
4– The train will approximately take 6.5 hours to cover the distance between Delhi and Lucknow.
5– The train will not run on Thursdays and Sundays.
6– Lucknow-New Delhi Tejas Express (train number 12585) will leave Lucknow junction at 6:50 am to reach New Delhi at 1:35 pm.
7– New Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express (train number 12586) will leave from New Delhi station at 3:35 pm to arrive in Lucknow at 10:05 pm.
8– To reduce the travel time, the train will only have a single stop in Kanpur
9– The new Tejas Express also encompasses a swanky mini pantry.
