As per a Northern Railway official, the list of cancelled trains included Udyan Abha Toofan Express, Taj Express, Kalka Mail and Sampoorna Kranti Express (Delhi to Rajendra Nagar, Patna). These were cancelled due to heavy fog, resulting in low visibility in this part of the country.
The official added that trains like Vikramshila Express and Brahmaputra Mail were running almost 26 hours late and Nandan Kanan Express got delayed by 16 to 17 hours. He further added that 16 trains were rescheduled owing to weather woes in north India.
