Indian Railways installed a free Wi-Fi facility at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. With this development, a total of 6000 railway stations in India now have facility of free Wi-Fi, as per the Ministry of Railways.

Due to the COVID situation in the country, South Eastern Railways has decided that train no.02211/02212 Santragachi-Purulia-Howrah Special from Santragachi and train no.58103/58104 Tatanagar-Barbil-Tatanagar from Tatanagar will remain cancelled with effect from 19th May till further notice.

Important: Due to Tauktae Cyclone warning in the coastal region of Gujarat, the following rail services will be cancelled.

Railway’s measures to face Tauktae Cyclone

All vulnerable areas and important bridges are being constantly monitored by the engineering wings and relief materials have been kept at convenient locations for quick response. A disaster Management Call has also been opened from 14th May.
