1. Pushkar Fair
The festivities have begun in Pushkar for one of the largest fairs in the country. The good news is that you still have time to visit the colourful festival this weekend. 2. Dev Deepawali

This is your sign to spend your long weekend reliving the festival of lights and feasting on delectable dishes on the streets of Banaras.

3. Rann Utsav
A carnival of music, dance and natural beauty, Rann Utsav is back yet again, and you can visit anytime in the next four months. The white desert of Kutch is an unmissable sight on full moon days. The moonlight turns the desert into a shimmering landscape which attracts visitors from all over the world.

4. Chandrabhaga Fair
Want to experience rural Rajasthan? Then, you should definitely attend the Chandrabhaga Fair this year. It is a confluence of trade, culture and music in the heritage town of Jhalrapatan, with River Chandrabhaga flowing beside it. Visitors take a dip in the holy water as the festival is organised during Kartik Purnima. There is also a cattle fair in which traders from states like Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra participate.

5. International Indie Music Festival
This one’s for all the music lovers out there. God’s own country is hosting its first International Indie Music Festival in the coming week. The five-day festival will be held at the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village in Kovalam. The event will feature seven international artists and 14 Indian bands. So, get ready to be mesmerised by their melodious tunes and don’t forget to explore the backwaters and beaches of Kovalam afterwards.
