Lucky for you, most countries are now open for tourism and have significantly eased their travel rules. So, here are five international destinations you can hit this August.
Thailand
Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has scrapped the Thailand Pass and mandatory health insurance of USD 10,000 for foreign travellers.
Starting from 1st July, they are only required to produce either a proof of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR test report (or the test result of a professional rapid antigen test done within 72 hours of travel). These documents will be acceptable in both print and electronic formats.

Mauritius
As of 1st July, Mauritius is open to all tourists, regardless of their vaccination status. This means that even unvaccinated travellers do not need to take an on-arrival test or self-isolate themselves.
South Africa
In order to boost tourism in the country, South Africa has removed the mask mandate in indoor public places. The government also notified that international tourists are not required to produce a proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test report anymore.

United States of America
In June this year, the US removed the last remaining COVID-19 curbs. International travellers do not have to undergo a pre-departure COVID-19 test or show documentation of recovery from the virus before flying to the country. They are still, however, required to carry a COVID-19 vaccination certificate to visit the United States.
Italy
Italy-bound travellers will no longer be required to produce the Green Pass or its equivalent certificate to enter the country. This means that they will not have to present any COVID-19 documentation (vaccination, recovery certificate or negative test report) upon arrival.
