In an exciting piece of news for train travellers, the Indian Railways has announced 30 winter special trains on various popular routes.
Important: Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Railways has also requested travellers to follow the rules related to COVID-19 during the journey.

The North Western Railway has announced the operation of several special trains for the convenience of passengers.
Details below:
1) Train no. 09620 Vasco Da Gama – Ajmer Superfast Special will operate on 3rd January.
2) Train no. 04705 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Special will commence its journey on 2nd January.
3) Train no. 04706 Bandra Terminus – Bikaner Special will operate on 3rd January.
4) Train no. 09739 Deher ka Balaji (Jaipur) – Sainagar Shirdi Special will operate on 3rd January.
5) Train no. 09740 Sainagar Shirdi – Deher ka Balaji (Jaipur) Special will operate on 4th January.
6) Train no. 09737 Jaipur – Hyderabad Special will operate on 3rd January.
7) Train no. 09738 Hyderabad – Jaipur Special will operate on 4th January.
8) Train no. 09723 Jaipur – Bandra Terminus will run on 5th January.
9) Train no. 09724 Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Superfast will commence its journey on 6th January.
10) Train no. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra Terminus Superfast Special will operate on 2nd January.
11) Train no. 09622 Bandra Terminus – Ajmer Superfast Special will operate on 3rd January.
12. Train no. 09619 Ajmer – Vasco Da Gama Superfast Special will operate on 1st January.

The South Central Railway has also decided to run special trains to Kollam from various destinations as detailed below:
1) Train no. 07141 Kacheguda – Kollam will be operated on 3rd and 10th January.
2) Train no. 07142 Kollam – Kacheguda will be operated on 5th and 12th January.
3) Train no. 07117 Hyderabad – Kollam will be operated on 4th and 11th January.
4) Train no. 07118 Kollam – Hyderabad will be operated on 6th and 13th January.
5) Train no. 07135 Kacheguda – Kollam will be operated on 5th and 12th January.
6) Train no. 07136 Kollam – Kacheguda will be operated on 6th and 13th January.
7) Train no. 07137 Nanded – Kollam will be operated on 6th and 13th January.
8) Train no. 07506 Kollam – Tirupati will be operated on 8th and 15th January.
9) Train no. 07138 Tirupati – Nanded will be operated on 9th and 16th January.
10) Train no. 07109 Secunderabad – Kollam will be operated on 7th and 14th January.
11) Train no. 07110 Kollam – Secunderabad will be operated on 9th and 16th January.
12) Train no. 07133 Secunderabad – Kollam will be operated on 8th and 15th January.
13) Train no. 07134 Kollam – Secunderabad will be operated on 9th and 16th January.
14) Train no. 07053 Kacheguda – Kollam will be operated on 9th January.
15) Train no. 07054 Kollam – Kacheguda will be operated on 11th January.
To clear the rush of passengers, the Western Railway will also run weekly special trains between Bandra Terminus and Barmer on special fares from 31st December. The details of which are as follows:
