Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum
You could give your morning the soothing touch of spirituality by visiting the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Set in Chinatown, the temple houses a 320 kg gold stupa, which hold what Buddhist leaders consider as the Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic.
If you’re up for the walk, stroll to the Orchard Road about 3 km away, crossing the Singapore River on the way. You could also take a cab, they come pretty cheap in Singapore!
Orchard Road
The retail and entertainment hub of Singapore, Orchard Road is a beauteous 2 km boulevard, which is often done up in seasonal decor. It’s a good idea to grab your brunch snack here, and you could also pick up the handbag or travel gadget those at home asked you to get!
The next stop is a complete must for your camera, and commands a Facebook check in! Time to make your way to the Merlion, a 1.5 km walk or 20 minute taxi ride away!
Merlion
Movies, postcards, keychains, t-shirts – nothing that’s related to Singapore comes without the Merlion! It’s time to witness the Lion head and fish body fountain spout water into the Singapore River. Grab an icy smoothie or a cup of coffee, and just sit and admire the world go by when here!
Fasten your laces, coming up is Marina Bay, situated at about 1.5 km from the Merlion!

Just as your tummy starts telling you it’s time for lunch, you’ll find yourself at the Marina Bay. With restaurants galore, this is one place you’ll be spoilt for choice! Once you’re done with lunch, stroll around to burn those calories, soak in the gorgeous views, try your luck at the Casino, or book yourself a Ferrari and some kicks!

A renowned destination for it’s interactive exhibitions which bring together the best of art and science, the museum is the world’s first to present both the fields at once. There are separate sections for permanent and touring exhibits, and the guided tours highlight both very well.
The lotus shaped building is well worth a few frames on your camera! When you’ve had your fill, head on to do the most touristy thing, take a sunset ride at the Singapore Flyer! Hailing a cab is recommended!
Singapore Flyer
Soak your eyes on the breathtaking, 360 degree views of the Lion City when you ride the Singapore Flyer around the time of sunset. The sky is changing hues, and the twinkling lights you’ve seen on Singapore’s postcards are just coming to life as you ride the world’s largest observation wheel!
During the 30 minute ride, every turn will move you, literally and metaphorically! From the flyer, you can make your way to the next attraction on foot.
Gardens by the Bay
Sprawling over a massive 101 hectares of reclaimed land, the very existence of this park is simply wonderous. Consisting of three parks, these Gardens are a delight to anybody who loves nature or science, and are nothing short of a fantasy world! The highlight of this park are the Super Trees, do check them out when you drop by!
After you’ve spent time bonding with Mother Nature, head to Clarke Quay to experience the best of Singapore’s night-time offerings!

Live performances, riverside bars, high street shopping, culinary delicacies, happening nightclubs- you name it, and Clarke Quay has it! A reveller’s paradise, this place is going to be the highlight of your nightlife for the longest time! For a round of shopping spree, you could head over to Bugis Street, Lucky Plaza and Mustafa Centre.
Party all night, or enjoy some quiet time at one of the fine dining restaurants, reflecting on the enjoyable time that you’ve spent in the city!
