Indian Railways is ready to start 200 special passenger trains from 1st June. However, railways have set certain mandatory rules for travelling in these special trains.

Food & Catering Rules:
1. The ticket will not include catering charges. IRCTC has temporarily suspended pre-paid meal booking and e-catering services. However, on a payment basis, passengers will be served limited eatables and packaged drinking water in select trains having attached pantry cars. Information about the same will be provided to the passengers at the time of booking tickets.
2. For safety purposes, passengers are being encouraged to carry their own meals and drinking water.
3. Stalls, vending units, bookstores, chemist shops etc. will remain open at the stations.
4. Food plazas and refreshment rooms will only be available for takeaways.
Linen and Blankets Rules:
1. Linen, curtains, blankets will not be provided inside these special trains. Railways has advised passengers to carry their own linen for this upcoming train journey.
2. The temperature inside the AC coaches will be well-regulated for the convenience of passengers.
Note: All railway passengers have been advised to avoid carrying unnecessary baggage.
