Tuesday was a nightmare for many!

If you don’t know already, six people got injured and two lost their lives after two coaches of Dibrugarh-New Delhi Capital Express (scheduled from Rajendra Nagar, Bihar to Guwahati, Assam) derailed in West Bengal around 9 PM on Tuesday (December 6).

The place where derailment took place is close to Samuktala Road Station (Alipurduar District in West Bengal), which is about 729 km from Kolkata.

It is learnt that the injured have been sent to the hospital so they can be given medical aid at the earliest. And arrangements are being made so passengers can be safely transported to Guwahati.

The engine and the coach adjacent to it derailed as per the Northeast Frontier Railway. Two weeks back, 14 coaches of the Indore-Patna Express derailed in Kanpur, killing over 100 people.
