With the demand for domestic flights increasing in the country, budget carriers IndiGo and SpiceJet have added flights on 13 new routes.
To ensure that passengers can travel conveniently, most of these new routes are direct, non-stop flights, with the exception of a few SpiceJet flights that have been provided with a layover in Delhi and Bengaluru.
All of these flights have begun operations unless mentioned otherwise, and can be booked on ixigo. Don’t forget to check the latest flight offers before making your booking!

SpiceJet
> From Bihar
SpiceJet has started six new flights from state capital Patna, two of which are direct, three of which have a layover in Delhi, and one with a layover in Bengaluru. All six flights have already begun operations and their schedules are as follows:
Patna–Surat–Patna
Flight SG343 will depart from Patna at 09:25 am and arrive in Surat at 11:40 am. Flight SG344 will depart from Surat at 12:40 pm and arrive in Patna at 03:10 pm. These flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Patna–Kolkata–Patna
Flight SG344 will depart from Patna at 03:30 pm and arrive in Kolkata at 04:50 pm. Flight SG343 will depart from Kolkata at 07:35 am and arrive in Patna at 08:50 am. These flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Patna–Delhi–Ajmer
Flight SG8722 will depart from Patna at 09:40 am and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 am. After that, flight SG2768 will then depart from New Delhi at 03:00 pm and arrive at Ajmer’s Kishangarh Airport at 04:10 pm. This flight will operate on a daily basis.
Patna–Delhi–Kandla
Flight SG8722 will depart from Patna at 09:40 am and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 am. After that, flight SG2348 will then depart from New Delhi at 02:00 pm and arrive in Kandla at 04:20 pm. This flight will operate on a daily basis.
Patna–Delhi–Srinagar
Flight SG8722 will depart from Patna at 09:40 am and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 am. After that, flight SG277 will then depart from New Delhi at 02:30 pm and arrive in Srinagar at 04:10 pm. This flight will operate on all days except Sundays.
Patna–Bengaluru–Mangaluru
Flight SG767 will depart from Patna at 10:45 am and arrive in Bengaluru at 01:20 pm. After that, flight SG3008 will then depart from Bengaluru at 05:10 pm and arrive in Mangaluru at 06:10 pm. This flight will operate on a daily basis.
> From Madhya Pradesh
SpiceJet has also started four new flights, connecting Madhya Pradesh with Gujarat and Maharashtra. The flights will be connecting Jabalpur to Surat and Gwalior to Pune, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. All of these new flights have been started under UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, and are non-stop:
Gwalior–Mumbai–Gwalior
Flight SG3436 will depart from Gwalior at 10:30 am and arrive in Mumbai at 12:15 pm. Flight SG3437 will depart from Mumbai at 01:15 pm and arrive in Gwalior at 03:30 pm.
Gwalior–Pune–Gwalior
Flight SG3440 will depart from Gwalior at 01:00 pm and arrive in Pune at 03:25 pm. Flight SG3439 will depart from Pune at 10:15 am and arrive in Gwalior at 12:30 pm.
Jabalpur–Surat–Jabalpur
Flight SG3420 will depart from Jabalpur at 11:20 am and arrive in Surat at 01:15 pm. Flight SG3419 will depart from Surat at 09:10 am and arrive in Jabalpur at 11:00 am.
Ahmedabad–Gwalior–Ahmedabad
Flight SG3435 will depart from Ahmedabad at 08:20 am and arrive in Gwalior at 10:05 am. Flight SG3438 will depart from Gwalior at 04:00 pm and arrive in Ahmedabad at 05:45 pm.
IndiGo
IndiGo has started non-stop flights on two new routes: Hyderabad–Srinagar and Tirupati–Kolhapur, and is planning to launch flights between Indore and Jabalpur from the end of August:
Hyderabad–Srinagar–Hyderabad
Flight 6E6405 will depart from Hyderabad at 06:20 am and arrive in Srinagar by 09:15 am. Flight 6E6406 will depart from Srinagar at 10:00 am and arrive in Hyderabad at 12:45 pm.
Tirupati–Kolhapur–Tirupati
Flight 6E7991 will depart from Tirupati at 11:45 am and arrive in Kolhapur at 01:40 pm. Flight 6E7992 will depart from Kolhapur at 02:10 pm and arrive in Tirupati at 04:05 pm.
Indore–Jabalpur–Indore
Flight 6E7742 will depart from Indore at 07:45 am and arrive in Jabalpur at 09:20 am. Flight 6E7745 will depart from Jabalpur at 03:05 pm and arrive in Indore at 04:40 pm. Both these flights will begin operations from August 28.
