Indian Railways has outlined several initiatives aimed at introducing the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express very soon. Among these endeavors is a collaboration between India’s Rail Vikas Nigam Limited and Russia’s TMH.

Included below are exclusive visuals showcasing the proposed concept designs for the Vande Bharat sleeper train, developed by Kinet SPV. These designs are currently proposed by the Kinet SPV, subject to approval from the Indian Railways.
Vande Bharat sleeper will be a 16-coach train with 11 AC-3 tier coaches, 4 AC-2 tier coaches, and 1 AC 1st coach. This can be augmented to 20 20-car sets or 24-car sets depending on the requirements of Indian Railways.
Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be superior to Rajdhani Express trains, which are the most premium sleeper trains on the Indian Railways network at present.
Vande Bharat sleeper trains will have cushioned berths and world-class amenities offering superior comfort and capable of running at speeds of 160 kmph.
The 120 Vande Bharat sleeper train sets will be manufactured by the Kinet SPV at Indian Railways Marathwada Rail Coach Factory at Latur in Maharashtra.
