Due to ongoing construction work in various railway zones, the Indian Railways has notified about the cancellation and diversion of several train services on particular dates.
Along with this, some trains have also been diverted due to the ongoing farmers’ protests in Punjab.
The Western Railways has cancelled six trains and diverted 11 others. Along with this, two trains have been cancelled and two more have been rescheduled by the Eastern Railways.
The national transporter has advised passengers to note these changes in order to avoid any inconveniences while travelling.

1. Trains cancelled and diverted by the Western Railways
The Western Railways has cancelled six trains and diverted eight more due to yard remodelling work being undertaken at the Hubballi Railway Station. As per official sources, the affected trains fall under the Ahmedabad zone.
Cancelled trains:
> Train no. 06506 KSR Bengaluru – Gandhidham Special is cancelled for 23.01.21.
> Train no. 06505 Gandhidham – KSR Bengaluru Special is cancelled for 26.01.21.
> Train no. 06507 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Special is cancelled for 23.01.21.
> Train no. 06508 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur Express Special is cancelled for 25.01.21.
> Train no. 06209 Ajmer – Mysuru Special is cancelled for 24.01.21.
> Train no. 06210 Mysuru – Ajmer Special is cancelled for 26.01.21.
Diverted trains:
> Train no. 06587 Yesvantpur – Bikaner Special will be diverted via Davangere, Amravati, Kotturu, Hospet and Gadag on 22.01.21 and 24.01.21.
> Train no. 06588 Bikaner – Yesvantpur Express Special will be diverted via Gadag, Hospet, Kotturu, Amravati and Davangere on 24.01.21 and 26.01.21.
> Train no. 04805 Yesvantpur – Barmer Express Special will be diverted via Davangere, Amravati, Kotturu, Hospet and Gadag on 25.01.21.
> Train no. 04806 Barmer – Yesvantpur Express Special will be diverted via Gadag, Hospet, Kotturu, Amravati and Davangere on 21.01.21.
> Train no. 06205 KSR Bengaluru – Ajmer Express Special will be diverted via Kusugali and Novaluru on 22.01.21.
> Train no. 06206 Ajmer – KSR Bengaluru Express Special will be diverted via Novaluru and Kusugali on 25.01.21.
> Train no. 06533 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Express Special will be diverted via Novaluru and Kusugali on 27.01.21.
> Train no. 06534 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur Express Special will be diverted via Kusugali and Novaluru on 24.01.21.
Along with this, three trains by the Western Railways will be diverted via changed routes due to the ongoing farmers’ protests in Punjab. The train schedules have been changed for today, January 14, 2021. Check the details below:

2. Trains cancelled and rescheduled by the Eastern Railways
The Eastern Railways has cancelled two trains and rescheduled two more due to power and traffic blocks being planned on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 15.01.21 and 26/27.02.21 between Saktigarh and Barddhaman Junction. Tap here to know the train details.
